Jerry, I have 4 Crusairs and my coach is a 1995. The units were maintained throughout the years, so far no problems. Thanks Chuck for the info about Aqua-Air replacements. I would guess replacement would mean the touch pads would also have to be replaced along with any wiring cables.
Digressing a bit. It is important to run all your coach systems even when it is sitting. I open the garage door in the middle of the winter storage and run the engine, heat, AC road air and Crusairs which is also the heat pump, plumbing...everything for exercise. I learned the hard way to let things sit through the winter with no activity.
The important thing is to get a good coach inspection, as you are working on and get your hands on any maintenance records available.
Does your coach have road air? That would be the backup in case of a total failure of the Crusairs, except you have to run the engine.
It will not hurt to keep looking. Price is a biggie. I paid way more than I should have but, when I saw the maintenance records and things that were upgraded and done, the extra cost would have been paid for later on.
How many miles is on this rig?
