I'm glad I checked out this thread. I was going to pass it by . It just goes to show you you can't pass by any thread or your going to miss what POG is about. All Prevost owners deserve some ribbing. These Buses cost way too much and get used very little for how they were designed and built. The mechanics and engineering I can take seriously, but not much else.

My previous CC, now Jamie's, was a great bus and I had few problems, but if I still had it, I would be throwing stink bombs at the Taco Twins fast and furious.

I hope this will be my final words on this subject. We CC owners should get together and file a reverse discrimination complaint with the EBOAB (Equality for Bashing of All Buses). Let's have some equal time for the American, Liberty, Marathon, Royale, Thompson, Vantare, Legendary, Featherlite, Parliment, Millennium, Angola, and Vogue owners. Or better yet, let's pick out one of them and bash them for about 6 months straight and see if that makes those owners a little sensitive. I apologize if I left any other conversions off the list! This is "Sarcastic humor" with truth dispersed throughout. I still " feel the love" for each of you; even the Taco Twins.

Sorry for that omission Gary. I added you to the list, so if we start in alphabetical order, American will be first. Actually, I think we need to start with Z and work our way backward. That way, CC will be in the spotlight again a few years from now.
If I can limp my Coach down there It would be lots of fun and maybe find out a few things about my CC ( 1990 ) Like Heater / AC's/ Switches over head/ Spot Light/ Turn Signals that work some times/

First and foremost, Welcome to POG. Jon has called this group an asylum. Some time it can get quite insane. But I think it is the number one group around for Prevost lovers. My CC is the same "vintage" as yours. Only fine wines and CC's can be referred to as vintage - something that gets better with age! My coach number is 60121. That is the CC assigned number. Do you know what yours is?
These machines are just like a house, work on it is never done. Between maintenance and honey do's there is almost no time left for work! The only real problems I've had in four years was a crack across the "Entertainment" panel and my current fight with the Bedroom and Galley A/C compressor clutch. I upgraded the dash unit almost two years ago in the same manner - new hoses, new compressor and clutch, current EPA approved environmentally sensitive refrigerant (R-134A). The rest have been minor and the help received from members of this group has been priceless!
We are missing Kerrville this fall - still working at least 40 plus per week - but know for sure everyone there will be having fun, making new friends, and renewing old acquaintences.
Hi, Bobby. I also have a 1990 Country Coach (60105) and there is at least one other 1990 CC owner, RAHANGMAN, on POG. Rodger has 60115.
I won't be at the rally (work, kid in school, etc.) but I can send you a .pdf of the Country Coach manual from my bus if you need it to figure out switches, etc. If so, send me a pm.
Maybe we should start a Country Coach Old Timers group, eh Will?
We also have a "vintage" CC which is even earlier than yours. We unfortunately will not be able to attend the rally as work and school age kids will preclude us being able to attend for the forseable future.
Likewise, even though I have manuals, there are still a lot of mysteries and it would be good to learn more about things. I am currently in the process of replacing the radiator and found corrosion on the inop dash/bedroom a/c so I ripped out the hoses, condenser, and evaporator. I think I see them listed on Prevosts site on their parts listing so someday it would be nice to get it working again. I think that will be a job for Prevost though.
Thank all of you for you vote of confidence . I'm too lazy to look up my CC number , its in the coach some where. Right now I'm fighting a mouse and trying to clean up every thing so Vonnie won't spook.
Got a fresh water leak around the shower. Man I don't know how to even get to it. All cabinet work is hidden screws.. I'll leave the pump off unless I need it and etc. Other than that it looks like We (Vonnie and I ) and maybe my son Jay , will plan for the 1000 mile trip Oct 7 or 8 and stay for a while if every thing goes right.
Going to bring my Steel and Amp and try to jam some where around close. Just a little Jeep to haul equipment unless the Coach runs good. See you ALL later.
