    Wink Reactions to Prevost bus?

Hello all, I am in the beginning stages of buying a coach..but I was watching a video and heard an interesting story. Some converters' mechanics were driving a customers coach in an attempt to locate a noise while driving it, and they pulled into a truck stop to grab some refreshments. The mechanics said that people tend to pause, and stare at the Prevost to see who"gets out". Obviously they were not excited to see the mechanics, but my question is ..what reactions have you had? Any good stories? Any bad stories? Just curious on the reactions and questions that people on the road have.

We have a lot of Amish friends and on many occasions we have had various ones in the bus with us. On one trip we stopped at Walmart so they could get some items for the trip. The bus alone gets many looks, stares and questions but when you stop and Amish get out the stare factor is greatly increased. On this occasion one very curious man came up to me and asked about them being on the bus instead of their normal mode of transportation which is horse and buggy. My answer to him was "they are the Amish actors that were in the movie "Witness" and they own the bus but are not allowed to drive it." He burst out laughing and walked away shaking his head.

When asked "Who's in the bus ?", we tell them...No one you'd recognize, just the old guy that invented Viagra.

I tell them a very important lady and then tell them that I will loose my job if I reveal her name.

    We have 2 answers:

#1. My wife is the owner, and I'm just the driver

#2. We inherited 2 dogs with the bus, and we are the caregivers,

One of my favorites was a clerk at a fuel stop said ' I know you can't tell but who is in the bus'?

    Shannon,

I find that your average individual can't tell the difference between a Monaco, an Allegro, a Foretravel, a Newell, a Wanderlodge, or a Prevost. And they can't tell the difference between an XL, XLII, or an H3. To most non-enthusiasts they all look the same; they're just huge bus-like motorhomes. So why not go for the gusto and enjoy the ride! You'll get more attention than you want regardless of the flavor!
