    Default Yanmar Generator Question

    Howdy all.

I have Yanmar Generator, which I believe to be Engine Model 3TN82TE-G1.

I removed both Primary and Secondary Fuel Filters to take to NAPA to match up. Secondary Fuel Filter says WIX 33263, so ordered that as NAPA 3263 (NAPA said WIX makes their filters, so just drop first WIX number and that is NAPA part - that's probably common knowledge to all but me, and hopefully true).

Primary Fuel Filter has no visible numbers, so I left NAPA with no replacement for that yet.

The housing for the Primary Fuel Filter is brass colored on my generator, and says Racor 110 on the housing. I looked for Racor 110 on internet and found one site saying 110 was replaced by 110A, but the dimensions don't look close.

My dimensions on the filter are Inside Diameter .75", OD = 2.25", and Ht. = 2.5".

NAPA had a Yanmar Engine Cross Reference for my engine model, being NAPA 3507, but it was ID = .79", OD = 1.969, and Ht. = 3.5", which is way taller than my Racor housing.

Anybody know which filter number I should use, or do I need to provide more info? Thanks all.

    Eric,

My Kohler generator also has a Yanmar motor. It may be the same as yours.

    My filters are as follows:

    Oil Filter: NAPA Gold 1334

    Fuel Filter: NAPA Gold 3390

Fuel Filter/H2O Sep.: NAPA Gold 3225

    Hope this helps.....

Sorry, Eric. I just checked, and my Yanmar Engine is Model 4TN84TE-RKRV.

So, my filters may NOT be the same as yours....

    Eric,

I thought that I had left extra filers in either the drawers at the top of the passenger side bay, the enterainment bay or in the drawer under the bed.

Paul, thanks for filter numbers. I'll check the fuel/water separator one against my dimensions for the filter.

Loc, I did not find any but will look again.

Kevin, if I can't track down through this group, I will try the Yanmar phone number.

    Thanks all.
