In my '96 CC 40XL for that service I just removed the carpeted 1x3 board in the middle of the wall and the whole wall was open. Very easy access to everything.

Well that's progress for ya.......doesn't work at all that way on the 99, believe it has something to do with the way they changed the mounting of the generators. Now, a double jointed midget with arms like a gorilla would have no problemo.....it would help if he could look around corners...kinda like a fly... as well

Thanks for starting this thread Tom. Just before Pahrump I had my coach serviced and asked them to make sure to clean the gen filter . We left Pahrump and came home to Reno through Death Valley. Gen got hot. Now I think I know why.

Oh, the folks that did the service, Smith Power Products, are the same stumblebums that did the number on Harry's Liberty.
