It looks like one of the air bags for my genset is punctured. Thinking of replacing it myself. Anybody out there ever do this/know whats involved?

So, does this mean that your generator has the "LEANS"? This is Jon's area of expertise and I'll bet next months salary that he will chime!!
John
Do I get next month's salary?

John: I bought the replacement part but was wondering how involved the installation is.

Jon,
You chimed in...I am off the hook. A seminar on Generator Leans is in order...Spearefish? I will be willing to give a talk on Farting up your Starleys...
John
Gran,
If its similar to my installation it is a simple matter of jacking up the generator to provide clearance for the removal and replacement and then lowering it back down on the air bag.
I would not jack under the oil pan without a big block to distribute the load so the oil pan does not get damaged.
When you get done John will inflate them with N for you.
Jon,
To be perfectly correct that is N2 up and cause they come in pairs.....
thanks John..seemed like it should be simple...however I thought the same thing when I purged the genset cooling system.
