Well I had the part number and the little bag they came in up until a couple of hours ago.

Just ask them for the rubber bumpers that are a part of the bay door latch assembly. That's what I did and I got the correct ones.

However, on the trip from San Diego to Anaheim, I discovered that there are actually four (4) more of these bumpers installed on the coach and two of them were in critical condition.

They are located on the engine doors and are mounted opposed to each other on the driver's side door. When you close the driver door (the first one) the inside bumpers rest against the coach door frame. When you close the second door (pass side) the door rests against the bumpers that are on the opposite side (now facing rearward).

I am sure it was just a matter of time before these hardened, brittle bumpers would have caused a major problem.

But since I ordered extras when on the phone with Prevost, I was able to replace them while in the new RV park in Anaheim and we have complete rubber bumper homeostasis.
