OK, but if I give him 300.00 and my bill is 250.00, how much do I get back? Damn Mango, we never had to do this at OSU.

Hey, Jon, I can't post pictures either. Just computer dane bramage I suppose, but I want to give you, Fast Rog and the gang a site where you can watch the progress of our western bus/toy barn construction. Try www.geodede.dynalias.org:14184 You should be able to see the movement of the boys and donkey about every four seconds. Maybe not exactly as much fun as watching Corona Kelley, But it's fun while we are here in Lauderdale. Can't make it to Kerrville, but we will catch youall soon.

Jon,

In your example above, you put the name of the file between the attach commands. You need the attachment ID number, not the filename. When you attach the image using the attachment manager, it gives you a unique ID number. That's what goes between the attach and /attach brackets.

The line should read more like:

where 125 is the attachment ID.

I hope that helps.

Where's the number Ray? What I put between the attach thingies was what it showed was uploaded.

I'll adjust your brakes if you do my computer stuff.

Let me give it a try. I haven't posted a picture in awhile here, so I'll have to do it.

OK, it's a little weird, but here's how to do it.

1. Open the attachment manager
2. Upload the file
3. Close the attachment manager.
4. Down at the bottom under "attach files", you'll now see a link to your image.

You have two choices here

5a. click on the link, and the picture will open in another window.
Note, the URL at the top of the browser. Like the image I just uploaded, the link was (shortened here)
...... attachment.php?attachmentid=1069&stc=1&d=1175880400

You see the attachmentid=1069. The attachment id for this picture is 1069.

5b. Hover your mouse over the picture link down under "attach files". You'll see the same link I typed above, but down in the "info" area of your browser.

In both cases you're looking for the "attachmentid=XXXX"

And here's the text which should show my picture

DSCF0323.jpg

I hope that helps. It is a little convoluted, I agree. If this doesn't work, get with me at Kerrville, and I'll go through it with you.
