Grand Cherokee battery drain
I know the has been issues with the newer Jeep Grand Cherokee’s with dead batteries. Found this TikTok video on a jeep form about a 150 Amp “inline” fuse that blows. Would have never guessed there was a fuse on the outside of the fuse box and inline with the battery cabling.
Good info to keep in your memory bank.

Interesting. That sounds like a nice upgrade. We used to have a 2012 GC. The alternator shorted out once and you could smell it and hear it like boiling water. No way to quickly disconnect any power as the battery was under the passenger seat. We complained to Jeep that there was obviously no over current protection and that they should fix this and be easy on us for the repair. My bet is that this was happening enough that they finally redesigned the system ... alas, the battery is still under the electrically operated passenger seat and now there are two of them under there! Go figure.

Glad to have fo found this posting. Of course I would check the fuses in the fuse box, but who would think to check the flat inline fuse that is not in the owners manual and doesn’t even look like a fuse.
