Not getting Power To Breaker Panel
Another issue, my house battery voltage is 12.9 but no voltage to breaker box, so no power to the Magnam inverters. When plugged in to 50 amps or running the generator everything works great. Any ideas where to look next? Transfer switch? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Norman:
Please clarify ... If you are plugged into shore power or are on the generator, then you have 120 volt power right?
However, if you are not plugged in and are not running the generator, then you have no 120 volt power right?
Also share some information on how you noticed this failure and anything that led up to it.
If both of the above are true, then your transfer switch is not the issue. It simply chooses between shore power and generator and it seems to be working just fine.
Can you access the wiring side of your inverters? It would be good to know that you are getting 12 volts at the inverter. Another friend had a similar problem. The shunt on the battery bank used to measure DC amperage failed open. Therefore even though the battery voltage was right, no 12 volt power was going to the inverters and without that the inverters would not turn on!
First I would make sure that the inverters were on and that something strange did not happen to reset some of the settings. If that all looks right, then I would try and find away to confirm that you were getting 12 volts all the way to the inverters.
You could have an internal inverter failure but for both of them to fail at the same time seems unreasonable.
If you have it, can you share the wiring diagram?

My 1998 CC had a 300 amp DC fuse right off of the battery bank for each of the inverters. It would be good to check these as well.

Mark, the house batteries had 12.9 volts. The positive battery cables where they are connected to the main terminal only had 10.4 volts.
Touched the welded lug where the negative battery cables were bolted to and the cables were warm. Took them off and they were both burned on the end. Putting new negative cables on there tomorrow. I think that should fix the problem. I'll post the results tomorrow.
Thanks for your help,

I am not intimately familiar with the Magnum inverters but if they are like my friends, they may not turn on at 10 volts. Fingers crossed that you have found the problem.
Lets hope that the burned cables were due to a bad connection and not something else

The lug welded to the metal battery frame that the 2 ground cables bolted to had broke on one side of the weld.
the ground cables were burned on end so I replaced the 2 cables and bolted them to the frame.
This solved my problem.
I want to thank Mark for the information he gave me.
