Hello,
My name is Richard Entrekin. My bride and I have purchased a 2007 XLII Marathon 1025.
We have owned Newells for 20 years, and I do all my own wrenching. I am a retired and recovering engineer who may have been better suited to be a car mechanic. We travel six months of the year mostly to the Rockies. We live in Inverness FL in the winter.
To define my comfort level, I have installed my own lithium bank, changed radiators, changed air bags, rebuilt front and rear suspensions, built Arduino and Rasberry Pi boxes for custom control, remodeled interiors including leather and flooring. I offer this, because when newbies have joined the Newell group, I was always interested in what kind of person I was trying to help. I am trying to help you help me.
i do not have any specific questions at this time. However if you know any specifics about this coach, please contact me privately richardentrekin@gmail.com. Don’t hold back. I already own it, and as DIY wrench, any info is good info.
The chassis side is extremely well covered in the Prevost manuals. My quest at this time is on the Marathon side, trying to understand the Techlink system, and how the Marathon systems work.
I am using the search engine to the best of my abilities in order not to ask previously answered questions.
Thank you, and I hope to be a contributing member and not just a taker soon.
