    Default CruiseAir acting up

Had forward CruiseAir replaced a couple of years ago, been working like a champ. All of a sudden it starts just blowing hot air and cycling off - on.

Turns on (Amp Draw 10 Amps), runs 2 minutes blowing hot air then compressor cuts out (but fan still running). After 3 minutes unit completely shuts off. After 3 more minutes unit restarts and cycles again.

Suspect this indicates low freon, am I correct?

Could be low on Freon. You would need to put gauges on the unit to measure pressure. Are any of the lines sweating moisture!

Havn’t dropped the front bumper to check with gauges or for sweating. Seeing the is no cold air I suspect the would be no sweating.

    Patrick:

My CruiseAir in the bedroom also freeze us out but the front only moderately cools the coach. Had AAP completely replace the front a few years ago, It defiantly blows cold air (we used to) but just can't keep up with all the glass that allows heat in on the H3.

One item on my bucket list is to completely disassemble the front area and reinsulate it. Also plan on coating the roof. Guess that's two items for the bucket list.
