2010 XLII 45'. DPF and Forced Re-Gen?
I have heard many different stories on when/if Re-Gen is necessary how to manually do it. Someone also mentioned a Prevost Bulletin about installing a Diode on wire 439 (?).
This is a new coach for us and I like to stay informed.

Mark,
For the miles we run I don't think you would ever have to do a forced regen but you never know.
You should have a DDEC VI with the DPF and no piss tank. There should be a sequence in your Prevost manual it's pretty involved for forced regen. Neutral reverse a couple times tap your right knee and pat your left elbow and touch your nose and then rub your head and then hold the button for 30 seconds.
If you don't have it Prevost will send it to you. The wire thing I never heard of.
Who converted your bus?

I did a forced regen on a coach with less that 30K miles. It depends on how it's used. Highway use with little idling and you'll likely never do a forced regen. When it needs it, it will signal you. Detroit with a light, Volvo with a message.

Gil I think the only forced regen you ever did is on your hair.
