Karl,

To me, there is a lot of satisfaction in troubleshooting an issue with the bus then using my tools and resources to fix it without moving it out of the hanger.

I also get a moderate amount of satisfaction in diagnosing a crappy problem and taking it to the right guy for a good fix at a fair price and thinking, "Dang I'm glad I didn't have to do that". I spent a fair amount of time as a new bus owner making expensive mistakes, so this forum and the folks on it have been priceless. So don't always think of this as a how-to forum for gearheads.

As J. Paul Getty said, "There's as much value in knowing where the oil isn't as knowing where it is". Plenty of folks on here have learned this by not getting skinned by a repair facility because of knowledge gained here.
