    Default Delco 50DN Seal Replacement

Here's a video on how to change that problematic front seal on the Oil-Cooled Delco 50DN alternators. It's not a hard job.

My advice if yours is leaking and the chassis has over 100,000 is replace it with a new one from prevo for 1100 bucks money well spent. They generate a lot of amps get very hot and once they start leaking there's a doz leak points. Proir Shops and owners detail with all the wrong paint and colors its easy to get it all proper again including the alternator itself

That looks familiar. Other than the leak. Mine wore the splines off the shaft.
