    Default Central Vac

What is the best of the best? Often the quality of the hose is poor. Any testimonials out there? Hows the hose on the Dirt Devil system anyone have one of those? What r converters using?

We had the Dirt Devil version on our previous coach. Even with a central location, it was a bit of a stretch for the hose on a 45 foot coach.

Don't have central vac on our XLII and don't really miss it. There are several good quality battery powered small vacs that do a good job.

Thanks Les. I had a Thomas Central Vac in my bus and I really liked it. It had three different ports to plug in to. the hose was almost 40 feet long I made two shorter pieces out of it I really miss it I'm going to get something they're all over the place in terms of cost. it's simple, good strong suction and a nice stiff sturdy hose. The cab on my Peterbilt dictates I have something with a hose with an attachment on it too many little nooks and crannies you can't go in there with a handheld and get it not good.

I can open up all the windows and doors and get a great big fan in here and just blow it out with an air gun what do you think? Do that once a year whether it needs it or not

No one puts those things in anymore Poluka, get yourself a Dyson stick vac.

Great suction and attachments, thats what Marathon has been doing if people want one.

Thanks for the help. I'll share what I end up with.

I did not have dust pan inlets on my Thomas unit. How would something like dust pan inlets combined with 2 or 3 hose ports be undesirable in an rv? Hmmmmm?
