Hey POG II'ers here a few photos of Santa Fe RV Park several months ago as we were passing thru. It was 10 degrees!

There were a few fulltimers living in travel trailers, but most of the park was empty. We were parked just east of the lodge building. Those sites we had for POG II had 1/2 foot of snow in them. After getting stuck in front of the office on a level surface ( warm tires on a cold, icy surface parked in one spot long enough for the tires to melt the ice), I wanted easy in, easy out. For backing out next day, if we were stuck, we'd use Rover to get the coach moving out of the site. In the end, out we went! It was a breeze, at 17 degrees!

Here's another to make you shivver. Thsi shot is looking north from the office over some of the rows we used for POG II. Click on the photo and you can get the enlargement feature, to see how desolate it here.

Sure shows a lot of tire packing of snow for no one being there.

The RV'ers who spend the winter used the sight we were in as a short cut to their sites. Also the owner of the Park must pass thru the campground in order to get ot his house. The last photo I posted beyond the packed snow, are the sights we stay in for POG II. Brrrrh. We didn't even hook up to the utilities, just ran the genset.
