Default New member and new Royale owner

My wife and I purchased an 04 Royale XLII back in September and took it to Platinum Coach for a PDI. Needless to say, a 14 year old coach with 19,000 miles on it had lots of issues. Platinum kept the coach for three months and did a wonderful job getting all systems up to snuff. Having owned 4 Foretravel’s we are very excited about our Prevost and look forward to many miles in it. As a dedicated “motorhead” I am looking forward to the learning curve challenges the new bus will bring.

Doc, once you get some serious seat time you will realize how nice your bus is. My first thousand miles was tense as I learned how everything operated. My second thousand was more relaxing and I began to truly appreciate the driving dynamics. My third thousand miles became truly relaxed and now I am amazed at how nice it is to drive. I put 80k miles on a 600 hp Monaco Signature that handled well but it does not compare to the relaxing ride of our Prevost. A commercial bus used in recreational environment is top shelf. Hope you enjoy yours.

Thanks for your note Les. We’re excited and will be heading to Florida next month for the rally. The fairgrounds is full so we’re staying at Palm Beach in Jupiter. Should be fun.

Doc, give me a call at the EXPO. Our neighbor just bought a 2005 Royale and will be there too. 615 area code, 957 9168. Another friend that will be there previously had a Royale and know them extremely well.

    Doc,

I'm conducting a technical mini rally right after the show. Let me know if you're interested. It's at River Landings Motorcoach Resort near Ft Myers through the 17th.
