    Default 99 liberty toilet

Toilet will not stop running. I need to shut off water supply and wait for a few minutbefore turning pump back on. Any advice?

    That toilet is Headhunter.
If u have water pressure and good voltage there is usually 1 of 2 things that could make that happen. A timer and a rubber diaphragm controlled with a solonoid.

The timer is hiding behind the toilet behind a velcro panel and the diaphragm water control is prob accessible by removing the back wall of the cabinate below the sink. If u can't see the water control sometimes it's still difficult with the access panel off, follow the wire off the timer and it will lead u to it.

Headhunter Ft Lauderdale has a great tech support line to help u with diagnosis.

U can test by removing the timer from the loop and take the 2 wires off the water valve and directly feed posative and negative to those 2 leads. If it completely closes when voltage is removed like it should, its the timer and visa versa.

The valve can be disassembled and possibly cleaned of obstruction. There is a pinhole in the diaphragm that has to be clear.
