    Default Air Brake Test

Although I realize we aren't subject to the regulations that commercial vehicles are I sutumbled on this CDL brake system test and thought it might be of interest to some.

I thought the same thing but never heard of some of those questions. I think Gil is trying to make us look bad. He probably aced it!

Got only 4 correct in five minutes. So much for common sense guessing. From other scores posted here, could there be something missing with the POG gene pool?

AND if U go back and retest U will get slightly different questions in slightly different order. That's got DMV written all over it. If U want to really help folks by teaching them correct info with a test then loose the vague questions with all bad or equal choices. I was surprised about the 3 psi loss per minute question. That's not the standard I was familure with. Can U imagine heading down the continental divide with a bus that's loosing 3 psi per min? Even if U did not even touch the brakes your compressor would run every 6 minutes. Isint that crazy?? Next time U R doing a tango with a big truck this is the safety standers they R held to. And the question about the single air system IMO is useless info did U guess I got that one wrong. If I were the teacher I would not want the pupils going away after the test more confused than before they took it.. Sheeeesh. Good grief Charley brown. I think we should do a BUS RODEO at a rally big money to enter real tough course. We could do it all for charity.............and bragging rights I gotta get another bus
