Default BE CAUTIOUS WHILE PROTECTING YOUR RV

On Tuesday, a man shot himself while getting to the door to check on a prowler. He was staying in an RV park in Phoenix, AZ and thought he heard a prowler outside the RV.

It was about 4 a.m. when he awoke and retrieved his trusty .22 caliber rifle while on the way to the front door. Unfortunately, he tripped in the dark and shot himself in the jaw. This may fall under the heading of "always keep that gun pointed down and away from you" (even in the dark).

After the authorities investigated, they found no sign of a prowler, but at least he was not charged with shooting himself. There are worse things than having a minor problem with the Prevost!

I guess he was lucky he didnt have a shot gun! This leads to the question, are some people safer with or without a gun.

Gary, If he had a shot gun, he probably wouldn't be in the hospital recovering. And yes, I am sure there are some who are safer without a gun. I personally will take my chances with one.
