    I went to get the mail yesterday and found this guy next to my mailbox - he is no longer with us...........

    I would say it is a Diamond Back. Typical of the ones we have around Pensacola.

    I'm glad you found it before Ceasar did. I so fear our dog finding one. Nearby 6-7 footers have been killed. The only good rattler is a dead one!

    Gentlemen, Speaking of Rattler's this one was killed about 20 miles from where our home was in southeast N.C. talking about cleaning out your drawers!
