Default Rear slides won't retract, 2004 Featherlite

Anyone know what went wrong? Been at LVM in Las Vegas and parked for a month. Was moving today and rear slides would not retract. Button on main panel for Aft Slideout Motors blinks red then green when pressed and neither rear slide will move in. Also overhead lights in stateroom will not come on. Does anyone have an idea what has happened. I'll have to move soon or go broke from casino visits. Please help....Mike Shaw

Hi Mike. I don't know if you have Prevost slides or another type. When my button begins blinking, it usualy means I don't have a closet door closed or there is not enough air in the slide system to operate the seal.

Doulble check the level low switch. Make sure you are in the drive position. Also as Gary pointed out check for proper air pressure - above 95 lbs.

Mike, On our 2005 Liberty if the drawers in the bedroom are not shut the slide will not come in. In each drawer is a latch that holds them closed if this is broken the slide will not come in. Look for pieces of plastic in the drawer a sure sign the latch is broken!

Call PASS they will figure it out for U and quick

After U try those suggestions go down into the bay and see if the auxilury controler will bring them in Drivers side 3rd or 2nd bay.

The good news is you are stuck at a really nice park.

If you have an XLII then you probably have Prevost slides. If you call Prevost Action Service they can walk you through what to do to get them in so you can drive. Common problems are that the level low selector is not in the DRIVE position. Uncommon problem could be a problem with a stuck pin, alignment or the yo-yo among other things. In the third bay on the drivers side (at least on my coach) are all of the mechanics for the slides. There are LED indicators in that bay that show the status of the pins. I have had a couple of problems over the years and Prevost was great at helping me get it fixed over the phone.

If you have an H3 Featherlite, you probably don't have Prevost slides. I would give the folks at Armadas Coach a call.

    Marvin,

I'm curios if you got fixed and was it something simple?
