We try to stick with the 230 club. Stop at 230 miles or before 2:30. That doesn't always work out, but when it does we get to enjoy the stop rather than just sleep.

Gil, That sounds like a plan. When we were younger, we would pass by so many things and tell ourself we would stop the next time. Eventually, we learned that if you don't slow down and take in the sites as you come to them, you probably have missed out on many things that will never be enjoyed. Now if we see something of interest, we try to take time to enjoy it. Of course, a bus makes this type of leisure travel much easier.
