Is your fuel level at or near 1/4 tank or less?

Also, check to see if you have the autostart on. If so and you have autostart, turn it off. And try again.

It sounds like it is not getting fuel. Check the fuel filter and fuel pump after you check your fuel level.

Fuel is just over half full.

I don't see an autostart button so I'm assuming there is none.

Additional info: I did not see a breaker specific for the gen start. No breakers are tripped.

I'm assuming the battery for the gen is the same battery as for the bus. Since the bus starts fine it does not seem to be a battery issue.

I tried pushing the start button on the panel inside the coach and the remote switch on the gen itself. Nothing happens. It doesn't even turn over.

Chris, look to your inverter panel for the auto start setting.

I had an 01 Marathon and it had a dedicated battery for the generator, you need to verify if that is the case in your coach.

I had this happen twice. First was a dead battery on the gen. Second time there was an orange wire that connected to the starter that had come off. Reconnected the wire and everything work well again. I'd post a picture but don't know how. The wire on mine was to the right (if your facing the gen) toward the top.

89 will be cutting it close, but check for a switch upper right of driver that reads "DC Gen Power" Again, 89 is real close to the cut off point for that particular circuit, but the DC Gen Power switch will have to be engaged to start the gen. (It triggers a solenoid to the gen starter)

If not, I would head straight for the gen fuel pump. This should be a Carter 12 volt, 8 GPM, diesel rated.

Hope that helps. Give us a ring if you have any questions and safe travels!
