Default Intermittent Alternator Light on Dash

Hoping the greater POG nation can help this newbie with an alternator light issue. From what I can tell the belts are good and battery voltages seem normal. But while driving yesterday the small red alternator light on the dash would come on for a minute or two and then go back out (the coach is an 08 Marathon XL). It continuously cycled on/off for a couple of hours.

If anyone has seen this before I'd be grateful for some insight.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Mark

I have had the alternator wires break at the crimp point on 2 occasions,I would just go to the wires and tug on them, mine pulled apart.

I had same thing going on , and it was like Jack said, a wire not making a good connection.

Great, thanks to both! I'll go through each wire.

Just a bit of advice, mine all looked intact, had to give them a good tug to discover loose one.

Mark, Call this number 407-427-5489 and I think that you will have an answer! Doug is awaiting your call! He is the owner of one of our sponsors here on POG site. Too much for me to type here.
