I remember seeing a TV program where one of these electrics or hybrids is able to capture some small charge bank into the batteries by virture of a small (presumabley low drag)generator weaved into the motion of the wheels while under way somehow. Sort of a semi perpetual motion effect. If someone wanted to engenieer this effect especially for RV'ers who towed their vehicles, then you could engage a "heavy duty" generator option (inbound from the wheel motion I mean). Then you'd be fully charge again when you stopped. I'm sure demand for this would too low for pruduction but just a thought. I know!
