    Giving credit to the staff:

I want to add that the staff in the front office and on the grounds are very nice people and they are trying hard to work with what they have. While my review is very critical, it is all about the campground.*

Interesting post Ron, with lots of detail. Been in that area a few times my memory reminds me of wind, steady for days from the gulf. What ever reason for back in pads in the gulf sites has to be interesting.

I think the owners are in for a surprise trying to get extra dollars for that location. From the pictures there is nothing to break the wind on the front row, except the bus.

Lots of traveling to many parks we find interesting set ups and the first thing to mind is ...who designed this, certainly not a RV'er.

Al, If you are in that area, try Topsail Hill. (ask to be in the 100 section) It is a state of Florida park, but was previously a privately owned park. It is not on the beach, but has a shuttle to the beach, which is all on the state property. It is on Hwy 30A, just off of 98. It is one of our favorite parks.

    Hi Pete,
Right now I'am enjoying Bella Terra and have just returned from Lu-Lu's beach bar, marina restaurant, owned by Jimmy Buffet's sister. Rain has been on and off most of the day.

Have stayed at Topsail several years ago it's very nice. As the park is owned by the state of FL now, I can never get in. If you call ahead learning the reservation must be made 24 hours in advance. Even if they have open space there are no same day stays. What the state is doing in the premium RV resort business is beyond me.

    Headed to Heritage on Thursday.

Yes, it is Pete. Nice people work here and take very good care of this resort.

    I'll pass on the hello.

Ya gotta love it - Courtney Fox called to let me know that a POG member had checked in at Bella Terra! They are really disappointed to not be hosting Oysterfest this year!
