FYI Just got off the phone with Lifeline Tech Support. Their recommendation is that if you are normally connected to AC with your inverter keeping the batteries on a float charge, the use of a desulphator is redundant. As an aside, I've been using battery maintainers such as Battery Tender in aircraft for years and they greatly extend battery life. Is the Pulse one step better? Lots of controversy on the car geek blogs. Here's one:
