Land Between the Lakes

Hey POGgers,

Spent a couple of nights at Piney Campground on Land Between the Lakes (LBL). Partly in Tennessee and partly in Kentucky. The rangers at Piney picked out a great bus friendly site for us, 50 AMP full hook-up back in, with lots of room between sites. Cost was $28.00 per nite with Golden Eagle Parks Pass. This would make a great destination camp with the family, especially if someone has a boat. Lots of water activities available, and some cultural stuff too, including Fort Donelson, (a Civil War Battlesite), and Dover, TN.

Ken and Janet did you have dinner at Patti's 1880's settlement? They have the best pork chop any where 2" thick and teder as can be a great place to eat any one in the area "The Land Between the Lakes" should be able to point it out. Beautiful area! Gary
