I guess I'm thinking about these. Does anyone know if all the wheels on a 99 - 2000 are the same ? If not, are any axles the same, like front and tag. It sure would be nice for someone to have these as spares in case of an emergency.

Inner dual is a steel wheel. Two aluminum wheels will push the outer drive against the fender.

So thats why my outer tire is so close to the fender.

It is probably rubbing under certain conditions if you have two aluminum wheels on your drive axle (per side).

They used a pair of aluminum wheels on the drives when the wheels were 8.25 wide and the tires were 12.00 R22.5. They had to use the steel inner wheel when the wheels went to 9.00 inches and the tires went to 315.
