Default Pacific Coast Outdoor Resort Oregon

This campground has to absolutely be the most beautiful camping views we have ever seen. Our site #186 is oceanfront on a bluff overlooking the Pacific and also a view of a lighthouse built on an ancient lava outflow that traveled 300 miles to flow into the ocean here . The town of Newport has excellent fresh seafood for either sale or restaurant prepared. Amazing. Wish I did not live so far away in Florida. Bring clothes for cooler weather for sure.

    Doug and Lee,
WE LOVE NEwport., The have a fantastic Aquarium. Be sure to go to MOE"S Otter Creek, then walk down the the big blow hole at the shore. If the surf is rough, the plumes of water flying in the air are wonderful. Also, there are a bevvy of Light houses along the Oregon coach.
2 as you see are in the Newport area. Go north or south and stop and see the,m
Also south of Florence on 101 are the Sea Lions Caves, a bit of Tourist Trap, but worth seeing.
The city Cannon Beach has a REAL Nice campground in town. If your going that way, it a good place to rest while touring the area. Also their beach is great, with outlyer rock with surf breaking on them at sunset is beautiful. How does 540 like being home again.?
    Safe travels
