    Default M&G brake system fuse

I had installed this week a new M&G brake system on my Avalanche and it was mentioned that I might want to remove the electrical inline fuse while not being towed. Does everyone do this routinely anytime the vehicle is disconnected or not? I know it would be quite an attention getter if for some reason that fuse popped while driving the truck around town.

My M&G does have any electrical componets. What inline fuse is he talking about, for the vehicle or M&G?

It appears to control the brake-away switch.

OK I don't have that switch but have been thinking about it.
    Thanks

I have an Avalanche and M&G, installed by the mfgr. and do not remove a fuse as you mention. Had no instruction or mention of doing such.

Call M&G in Athens, TX if in doubt!
