You could buy one of the new MacBooks, which would allow you to run both Mac and Windows software. You'd need the new express card Verizon card for those and you'd also have to add extra hardware to record TV since it doesn' t have a tuner built-in.

But I'm sure all the Windoz users here will blast that out of the water as an idea.

Well had I actually given this some more thought, I would have realized that as one who owns the "Spontaneous Combustor of Motor Coaches - A Liberty", you would have to have a like minded computer.

This is the latest fad in self immolating computer gear.

Roger- I found my notes on the price for the Dell warranty stuff. I wrote to myself ......." 'Complete Care' was an addition $150. For $249 you get the parts and labor besides accidents." I'm not sure what the difference in the two programs is but I'm certain I got the better one and I think that is the one that covers soup to nuts even if you drop the computer. In an earlier post I think I thought it was $400. It's less.
