What's the going price for snot balls?

Wintzels will not post the price beyond saying market price. On the wholesale side the prices I saw today were $18 for a bushel and that is about 250 oysters so by my calcualtions material cost is a little over $.07 each plus a shucking fee plus profits so they should go for $3.00 to $4.00 per doz.

I have stayed at Bella Terra twice, it's a great spot. There is a local restaurant called The Tin Top in my opinion they were better than Wintzels and the prices were more reasonable. They have the best Oysters that I have ever had.

Reservations made with Julie today! We love Bella Terra and can't wait to go back! Julie confirmed that she's trying to put us all in the same area of the resort.

Great to see POG folks signing up for Oysterfest. Remember: No agenda - just eating, relaxing,, and lying.

I am sure somebody will turn a wrench before its over.

    Ya'll come!

As of Wednesday, 2/9 - we are up to 12 buses for Oysterfest! I guess we need to let Julie at Bella Terra know to reserve more spaces for oyster eaters! And with the rumor of Jim & Carol Trout's attendance - that would put us at lucky 13! Keep 'em comin'!
