    Mine are a pair of 12 volt AGM batteries wired for 24 volt-they are 4 inches X 3 1/2 inches X 2 3/4 inches.

If that is the case mine must be wired to the chassis or house system. Thanks

I found my battery, it is inside the AB unit. The AB rep in my area had the batteries in stock and told me they were around $100, I question this since I had seen online companies selling them for 15 to 30 bucks. I took the battery to Batteries Plus and they took the old battery connecter wires off and put them on a new 3v Lithium battery for $15 total.

While talking to the AB tech I asked about the communications port on the front of the AB PLC and was told that it is used to program the unit and he asked if I had a backup program. Apparently if the you fail to replace a dead backup battery (which is only used to save the program memory if you loose main power) you have to reinstall the program with the backup program or what ever is controlled by the AB is non functional.

How may people out there have a back up program for their AB PLC's? If you have an orphan coach this may be a problem if you don't.
