Valve Lash

Please direct me to the previous post, maybe a year ago, where a member pulled the valve cover and checked the valve lash (Series 60) from inside the engine compartment.

Jim,
Just read you post on valve adjustment (working way to hard at my day job), it can be done with the engine compartment closing cover in place. Number 6 will test your grit.
Detroit Diesel can supply the injector height tool, you will need the serial number of your engine to get the right tool. If you have a Jake brake it may be more difficult if not impossible to make the adjustment with the closing cover in place.
I can send you angled feeler gages and the tools I made to do mine if you want to take a wack at it with them, it's going to be a long time before I need to use them again.
