It appears Skiffer has snapped once again! In the cold Maine months (9 out of 12) you'll find him still in his underwear at 11:00 am, feet up on the desk, staring out the window at frozen moose droppings with this glazed look in his eye:

Lows in the mid 50's, highs in the mid 70' here in the Houston area. Wonder if I should start planting my garden? Think I'll wait a few more days, we may get a cold spell!

Harsh Pete, very harsh....but true. Up here in the Hill Country we are a couple of degrees colder so it is not quite as nice, but I will take it.

O.K. you Texans. I'm sure somewhere out there a Snow Storm is headed your way.

Perhaps this coming summer when we are enjoying our nice moderate temperatures we can inquire of our Texan friends how they are enjoying their Saharan temperatures and arid conditions that turn their lawns to brown and melt their shoes to the pavement.

That's right. Forgot northeners are snow birds, so you guys escaping the heat must be desert birds?

Jon, that's what we call a warm spell. Clears the mind and body! That's when we put our shoes on!
