Default No warranty card sent in

While going through all the manuals in a big white box I find the warranty card for the engine still in the file. Should I now mail it ?

Detroit has a 5 year warranty on the series 60 in coaches,a new owner must pay $250( I think) to have the warranty transferred,I would call Detroit Diesel and find out how much warranty is left and verify the transfer fee.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe it was registered on line. the phone or when some service was done. I think the time table of 5 years is over the hump.

You might also call Marathon to see what the "In Service Date" is. Possibly, your coach could have sat on the shelf and sold in 2006. What is the Marathon Coach number?

I have learned that Marathon had taken care of activating the warranty at the time of delivery or in service date.
