California campground suggestions please

We bought a lot at Outdoor Resorts Indio last March. It has a very active social program....free golf and many pools. It is a very nice place....you might want to consider. In any case, hope some of us Poggers in SoCal can get together while you are out here....

We stayed at the San Fransisco RV Resort in Pacifica and if you get one of the ocean view spots, you can't beat it. Also liked the resort at Chula Vista that Ray mentioned. We stayed at Yosemite Pines near Groveland and liked it okay but the drive up there on 120 is not for the weak hearted.

Lloyd, I will second the beautiful Signature Resort in Indio. We stayed there two years ago, for a week at Christmas time, and just loved it.

If you end up in the Bakersfield area for any reason, I would try Orange Grove RV Park out east on 58. Very nice and quiet.
