Default Generator Electric Fuel Pump Failure

I have already sent an email to the Country Coach owners because most of use Power Tech generators. I thought this may be of interest to others.

I recently had an electric fuel pump fail on my generator. When contacting Power Tech for a replacement pump, I discovered they no longer provide direct replacement pumps of the kind I had, but now offer a different pump for all generators. The new model will not fit without piping modifications. I have included pictures so owners can see the difference. If you want to carry a spare electric fuel pump for your generator, you will need to carry the required fitting for a change over.

    For Your Information.

You can buy that pump at NAPA for around $100. Just replaced one that was leaking.
