    Default Oil pan Off

I have taken my oil pan off to weld some leaking pin holes in it. Found too many to keep this pan, so I am looking for another. I think road salt has taken a number to this pan. Is there anything I should do under the engine while I have the pan off?

I cannot think of anything, but you got many more years out of your pan than I did mine. I think mine was 10 years old when I replaced it on our 1987 coach.

Depending on mileage, you could drop a rod or main cap and see how the bearings look, but it probably is a waste of time unless you have a ton of miles on the engine.
