    Hello,
Can anyone recommend a nice campground in this area? We'll probably be pulling a trailer and would need a 65' pull through.

Sherkson Shores in Port Colborne, Ontario is a nice rv campground/resort on the shore of Lake Erie. The premium sites have a concrete pad and 50 amp full hookups. It is about 15 miles to the Falls. We stayed there several years ago. Here is the website address: http://www.sherkston.com/rvcamping/

Looks like a great place. Much more appealing than some of the ones on the NY side. Thanks.

Has anyone driven their bus directly into the town of Niagara Falls and parked for the day? Where did you leave your rig? Seneca Niagara Casino parking lot? State park lots on Goat Island? Aquarium of Niagara parking lot? We will be passing through there this summer with the kids and would like to be able to roll right into town, see the sights and the cruise out at the end of the day. Since still so new to me, I am a little paranoid about the size of the H3 and how accessible urban locations are and the protocol for parking.

Many years ago we drove the bus to the Canadian side of the Falls. We were able to park the bus about a 3/4 of mile away from the Falls in a bus parking lot. The following website http://www.niagaraparks.com/plan/parking.html provides information about RV parking. Parking for RV's is $10 but is only available on weekdays between June 26 and Labor Day and on weekends before from Easter to mid-June. They even have a shuttle bus to take you to the Falls even though it is a nice walk along the river.

My wife and I went to Niagra two years ago and parked in the casino lot on the US side for two nights and just dry camped. We do not tow a car so that was close enough to walk or bike to everything we wanted to see. We did not go into Canada given the amount of contraband on the bus. That said, the US side was very depressed while the Canadian side looked like Disneyworld from what we could see.
