    I looked at the last one I got last month and it's 3.4 watts, go figure!

    The reason the solenoid and valve are separate, is because the approach allow for stocking each separately and not having to have the larger inventory of larger valves for every voltage of coil (solenoid). They are only "matched sets" to Prevost, not the parts distribution centers for Norgren. They mean "matched set" in that for that particular use, they already have them "kitted together" for each application Prevost uses. Also, the reason you had trouble finding equivalents from a Norgren distributor is that Prevost has them put a number unique to Prevost on the valves (for instance the K910026). The same exact valve would have a totally different number if you obtained it from anyone other than Prevost. It's like having unique "tracking and use" built into the part number.
    Just some "brain teaser" info for those who wondered...
