We've stayed at the Nashville KOA. It's ok, close to the Opry.
Hello Mike. Since joining POG a few years ago I have been very happy with the knowledge I have gained and the camaraderie of this group of friends. I see you are a Prouds Member. What is it like on the " other side. "

Hi Jim, We are newbie's, our 1st Prevost and our first rally with Prouds. We've also joined the Vantate Vogue club and look forward to attending a POG rally as well.
Mike, Keep us updated after your first Prevost Prouds Rally. Tell us if you prefer talking about your portfolio, finances and wealth or learning about the new Bus from this group. Both groups have a strong membership.

Hi Jim, Well I do still work for a living and talking about wealth will be a brief conversation for sure ... But hey, I can hang. Mike
Mike,
There are several campgrounds in Nashville all located next to each other. The last time we were in Nashville we stayed at Yogi Bear where your current bus was parked at the time. I think the KOA is a little nicer, but they are all about the same.
As for New Orleans there are only two that I would consider. French Quarter RV Resort is located on the north end of the French Quarter and is a really nice ownership park in a bad part of town, but they have good security and a gated entry. The other park in New Orleans is Bayou Segnette State Park on the south side of the river from town. I don't know if it has reopened after Ike, but it is a little oasis where you feel like you are in the woods even though you are close to town. They have paved parking and roads and 50 amp service. I don't believe that had sewer hookup at each site, but they have a dump.

Mike,
Don't pay any attention to the Tool Man Keller, he's never been the same since the PP's turned him down! I think you'll enjoy the rally in Savannah, they do it up first class.
We enjoyed our time at the French Quarter RV in New Orleans, it is easy to access from the highway. Has nice paved sites. Is a short walk to the the French Quarter and a short taxi ride back at night. We will always stay there when visiting NOLA.
French Quarter RV is a nice small park. We stayed a few days there recently and enjoyed it. Don't walk too far off the path in the area but you are only 3-4 blocks from Bourbon Street. Enjoy yourself!
