Default For Truck Enthusiasts at OKC

There will be an antique heavy truck show October 2-3 at OKC. I have attended a couple of these and found them pretty interesting. On the cover of the American Truck Historical Society magazine this month is a 1946 Flxible bus converted to a motorhome. The flex is based in OKC so I presume it will be there. The show is at the Petro Truck stop 20 MLK blvd. and hwy 40. It is being sponsored by a regional chapter so no telling how large/small turnout will be.

Hey that sounds like real fun, I'd go to that Sat afternoon, but I'd need a ride.

One of my former co-workers from Halliburton will have his 1957 truck tractor there and the Petro is just a few miles south of the RV park. Should be an interesting deal as I ran on to them in Phoenix a couple of years ago and the show there was great. Bunch of FWD trucks and such. Way cool.
