    Default Flasher unit or Relay

Recently flumoxed (new word) while changing a running light bulb on my 1990 XL Country Coach. Caused slight Arc, replaced bulbs but now, no flashing. Other help request mentions a flasher in the Drivers Side elec panel (outside) but I see nothing that looks like a flasher unit. Looked all over under drivers side of dash, found 2 , 24volt relays that seem to be tied into the marker/directional system. Could it be that they are used instead of a flasher unit. If so, where would one find a replacement? I can make the flashers work by manually moving the directional lever on steering column which would get me home when we leave Colorado in a couple of weeks back east.
