    Default GT Tires

Tried getting Double Coin tires here, but can only find GT tires which are also
Chinese. Does anyone have any experience with these? They are 1/2 price of Michelins and will go on tag axel. Dan

Sumitomo, Yokohama are a couple of common ones that come to mind. I am unfamilure with GT but if you like the tread pattern go for them.

    There are dozens of brands.

Question Double Coin Web Site ?

Actually I have tried to find them in the Houston area as well for future Tire consderation, but had no luck!

Jon, do you have a web site or contact for us to use to find them in other parts of the country?

    Thanks

Dan: Time to trade the bus if you are needing tires.

I just got something in the mail today about Obama signing up some accelerated depreciation for coach purchases. I am sure he was thinking of you. Yee-hi.

I read it twice and still don't understand it well enough to spread it around.

    Default That spare I carried

Well, the spare I carried that I hoped to double my money on has been put to use. Had a blowout on tag just North of Montgomery on Sat. Afternoon.
Good Sam sent someone within 30 minutes and put my spare on. Michelin tire blew, but it was old. I was just trying to stretch it and it cost me as it blew the mud flap and bent the attaching metal. 2 tag tires were old but others are pretty new. While waiting at Wal-mart put satelite up and when I started to leave it would not come down. Left anyway and let wind do it. stopped in about 5 miles to check, it had come down but now does not work. Looked on top of bus and cover over air conditioner cover was coming off. Got it off and put in bay and saved it with minor repair. Dumped at rest area and stepped on dump cover plastic thin and broke it. THAT FREE FOOD FOR % DAYS COST ME GOOD!!! It was a great place and the Host were great. I would recommend Tom Johnson RV to everyone!

Dan, You should have stayed at Tom Johnson's and got him to repair all those things you were going to tear up on the way home. I'm really sorry about all your problems.

As I mentioned while we were there, my rear roof AC quit working and was blowing a breaker every time I tried to turn on. In fact, the breaker was blowing without the AC even being turned on. I found a shorted wire this morning and repaired it, but I will make a separate post about it when I get time.

    Default Roughing it

Was this a jinxed trip to NC? We thought about going but are about to leave for a Grandkid checkup in Colorado for a couple of months. Sure hope those problems don't rub off through the E mail.

    Thumbs up Double Coin Tires

For my best friend, Dan the drawer expert.

    http://www.doublecoin-us.com/

Go to this site and use the dealer locator in the top border.

You may have had trouble because you may have not had the complete name?
