    Default Inverter Settings ...

Does anyone know the correct settings for a Trace inverter for the battery charging of AGM house batteries.

IN particular I was wondering about those paramters listed on page to (setup -> battery charging), which include

    1. Bulk volts DC
    2. Absorption time (h:m)
    3. Float volts DC
    4. Equalize volts DC
    5. Equalize time (h:m)
    6. Max charge amps DC

IN particular I was worried about the next, because mine is set for "lead acid". I have AGM batteries, however AGM does not appear to be a selectable entry?

    7. Temp Comp (Lead Acid, NiCad) (AGM doesn't seem to be a selection)

Any other paramters to check on this? Bus is 250 miles away, but I'll probably be going out this weekend to check.

    Ray,

Try this site. I refer to it frequently, and they also will respond to questions. What I also do is go to the battery manufacturer's web site.

I would also suggest you go to the inverter manufacturer's owner's manual. My Heart Interface manual is excellent and I am sure all inverter manufacturer's provide advice on inverter settings.
