Default Atlantic City - Stop Needed

I'm going to take a couple of guys up to the Atlantic City / Ocean City, NJ area next week for Thurs. & Friday nights.

Has anyone had any camping experience in this area for a recommendation?

Is there any Casino parking for the bus if need be?

    Thanks for the help.

    Default New Jersey Camping

Can't help with good-- but Truck had some bad experiences. I think the campground was called Camp Out. I remember some really nasty photos. They may have been closer to NYC than to Atlantic City.

Mike, Jan and I used to do the Atlantic City antique show twice a year. The only place we ever found was in the link below. From the pictures it looks like they perked it up some because when we stayed there it was real marginal. Mostly construction and long term folks. Tight in and out but doable. Call um and see whats up. Hopefully the shuffleboard and washer toss area is open so you guys can have some fun.

    Default Scenic Riverview Campground

    Mike,

I stay at Scenic Riverview campground on Highway 49 in Tuckahoe, NJ. From there, it's about 20 minutes to Ocean City and about 40 minutes to Atlantic City. 609-628-4566

I like it because there are NO TREES!! Its very difficult to find a campground in South Jersey with nice, open lots and no trees to navigate around.

The lots at Scenic Riverview are huge... I think 50 x 80 or something like that. Grass sites with gravel road. Newer pool but nothing else.... so don't expect a lot of amenities there.

There is water access to the Tuckahoe River for boats, jet skis, etc.

    Good luck and have fun.
